# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • Rolling each bread slice feels like a little cheat code for bakery-level treats at home, and nobody ever suspects how easy they are.
  • The warm, gooey cream cheese filling has converted even my most devoted cinnamon roll fans to this simpler, faster version.
02 -
  • The very first time I made these I tried to skip flattening the bread and the rolls just unraveled in the pan – always use the rolling pin.
  • Extra cinnamon-sugar mix sprinkled right after frying sticks much better than if the roll ups cool first.
03 -
  • Using cold, day-old bread actually makes these easier to roll and less likely to become soggy.
  • A tiny splash of extra vanilla in the dipping mixture adds a lovely aroma you notice with every bite.
