Homemade Copycat Shamrock Shake (Printable version)

# What you'll need:

→ Ice Cream Base

01 - 2 cups vanilla ice cream, preferably full-fat

→ Dairy

02 - 1 cup whole milk, or 2% for lighter consistency

→ Flavorings

03 - 1/2 teaspoon pure peppermint extract
04 - 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

→ Color

05 - 4-6 drops green food coloring

→ Optional Toppings

06 - Whipped cream
07 - Maraschino cherries
08 - Green sprinkles

# Directions:

01 - Add vanilla ice cream, whole milk, peppermint extract, vanilla extract, and green food coloring to blender pitcher.
02 - Blend on high speed until completely smooth and creamy, approximately 30-60 seconds. Add additional milk by tablespoon if thinner consistency is preferred.
03 - Taste shake and add more peppermint extract in small increments if stronger mint flavor is desired. Add additional food coloring drop by drop to achieve vibrant green hue.
04 - Divide mixture evenly between two tall glasses. Top with whipped cream, maraschino cherry, and green sprinkles if using. Serve immediately while cold.
