# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It takes all the comfort of a loaded baked potato and transforms it into something you can scoop up with crunchy chips, which somehow makes it even more addictive.
  • The creamy, smoky, tangy combination hits every single craving at once, and nobody can resist going back for just one more chip.
02 -
  • The first time I made this, I used regular potato chips and they kept breaking when people tried to scoop up the thick dip. Now I always use thick-cut or kettle-cooked chips.
  • I've learned the hard way that if you don't let the bacon cool completely before crumbling, it turns into a greasy mush instead of those perfect crispy bits we all want.
03 -
  • Room temperature ingredients blend together much more smoothly, so pull everything out about 30 minutes before you start mixing.
  • If the dip seems too thick after refrigerating, stir in a teaspoon of milk or cream to bring it back to the perfect consistency.
